She was copying code into an Amstrad CPC at the age of seven and hanging out on BBS lines before browsers were invented. An early adopter of AI, she has been recognized as a top Midjourney user and in 2025 launched Origins, her massive AI introductory class. She and Isaac are known for building 10,000 page SEO-heavy websites in a day. She's also skilled at data research and analysis — she's built powerful market intelligence reports and dashboards drawing from AI-powered analyses of Reddit, Amazon, Etsy, and beyond. She built this site with AI.

Katharyne and Isaac developed Tangent Templates, the premier publishing software for Amazon KDP with tens of thousands of paid users, popularizing 'low content' books on Amazon. Her brainwave came while reselling notebooks from Walmart — she realized she could publish notebooks with her own cover images directly through KDP without purchasing physical stock, creating an inventory-free business. Later, she was the first educator to teach coloring book creation for Amazon. Sasha O'Hara, one of her first students, went on to make over a million dollars with her coloring book Calm The F* Down.

An entrepreneur for 14+ years, she started in the trenches as a treasure hunter — shopping yard sales and retail stores to resell on eBay and Amazon. She pioneered the strategy of bundling retail items into complementary packs and selling through FBA to generate far higher profit than reselling individually, creating a six-figure income in her first year. Her 2015 Bundles Masterclass was the first of its kind and an overnight success, launching the careers of hundreds of profitable new sellers. Since then she has developed more than 15 courses across physical and digital products on a wide range of eCommerce platforms.

With an MBA and an MSc in Psychology, Katharyne is an obsessive learner who loves to share her knowledge. She has an eye for following the money and has built numerous powerful systems and frameworks including NEST (Needs, Emotion, Season, Trends) for product ideation, Magic Formulas for creative thinking, and Deep Values — now developed into the Katharyne Shelton Values Matrix. Her methods have helped countless thousands of sellers over the last decade and have been heavily imitated in the industry, but her quirky, creative style is hard to follow.

She has a knack for taking complex systems and making them easy to understand, accessible, and even fun. Many of her classes — including Cultivate and Origins — take high-level business frameworks and strategies and break them down for an entrepreneurial audience. Magic Matrices in Origins shows new creators how to build MBA-level matrix-based frameworks, then demonstrates how they can serve as the heart of an entire business.

Katharyne is a clown. She trained at John Gilkey's Idiot Workshop in Los Angeles and has studied with teachers including Eric Davis (bouffant), Eleonor England (voice), and Chad Damiani (theatrical clown). She has performed at numerous theaters including The Elysian and Lyric Hyperion. Her first degree is in Theatre and Performance with a focus on performance art. She has taken acting Summer School at RADA and studied improv for many years including at Second City, iO, and ComedySportz. She performed her one-woman show Retail Paradise Princess at Greyfriars at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
